Outdoor Waxburner CeraLava® with Glass Hood

On your balcony or patio, along a path or in a snow-covered garden, the Waxburner can be used wherever you would like to create atmospheric lighting outside. It is windproof and frostproof. An eye-catching feature all year round. Simply use candles and leftover wax as fuel. Add them to the Waxburner to transform leftovers into new light. This is an environmentally friendly, straightforward, safe and economical way to use the Waxburner. You do not need to remove old wicks as they sink to the bottom of the bowl where they cannot catch light. The Waxburner comes ready filled with wax for up to 36 hours of continuous burning. It can be safely used outside and gives off a very beautiful, soft light. The Waxburner itself has a long-lasting, non-combustible fibreglass wick.

Glass Hood

The Glass Hood is made up of three parts: Ring base, Glass Hood and lid for extinguishing.

The Glass Hood is handmade from high-quality borosilicate glass. This brilliant glass reflects the vivid frame and intensifies the effect of the light. The Glass Hood also protects the flame from the wind, prevents accidental contact with the flame and makes the Waxburner even safer for children and adults alike. If the Waxburner is working correctly, the glass will become warm, but not hot. The glass might become hot if the flame is too big. For safety reasons, only touch the glass with a heatproof glove when in use as there is a risk of burning. Place the lid supplied onto the opening of the base ring to extinguish the flame. You can do this without removing the Glass Hood.

The Glass Hood does not protect against moisture penetration. Water in the bowl can prevent your Waxburner from working properly and can cause damage in icy conditions. The Waxburner and Glass Hood must be stored in a dry place where they are safe from frost.

If required, the Glass Hood and the ceramic parts can easily be washed in the dishwasher or by hand using washing-up liquid.

Technical device

The Waxburner is a technical device. To maintain correct functioning, simple maintenance work is necessary from time to time. These easy-to-perform actions are described in the enclosed manual.

Wax fuel

The Waxburner may only be operated with wax. The quality and composition of the wax has an influence on the function of the Waxburner and may require more frequent maintenance. Beeswax should not be used because of the honeycomb residue. You will find notes on the different types of wax in our enclosed candle guide.

Stand

For more positioning options, we supply a stand to go with the Outdoor Waxburner. It raises the Waxburner off the ground so it can also be used as a romantic garden light, for example. The stand is available in rust-free stainless steel or powder-coated steel.

Anti-insect oil & pure essential oils

Drop pure essential oils into the liquid wax to transform the Waxburner into a fragrance diffuser. The essential oil evaporates very gently in the hot wax so it creates a long-lasting aroma. We offer pure essential oils that are specially intended for use in the Waxburner. Our anti-insect oil is especially beneficial for use outdoors. The pleasant, summery blend reliably keeps away annoying insects.

Pure candlewax refill

We supply pure, high-quality candlewax pastilles for use as a refill if you have run out of leftover candles or to add for a clean burn. This will help your Waxburner to always burn cleanly and reliably. 2 kg and 4 kg bags of wax are available for respectively around 72 hours and around 150 hours of burning in the Outdoor Waxburner. Each bag contains a practical measuring scoop.
