Granicium - food-tested, allergy-friendly & antibacterial
The Granicium granite ceramic developed by us is metal-free, free from plasticisers and food-tested. There are no known allergy reactions. In order to achieve the finest possible surface structures, we add effective microorganisms (EM) during production. This "ferments" the ceramic mass and we achieve a gentle roughness of the surface. We also mix rutile into the ceramic and utilise a photocatalytic effect. This destroys bacteria and viruses in a natural way. Odour formation is also reduced, e.g. when food is left standing for a long time.

Tilt-proof and stable
The bowls are deliberately heavy and robust. The centre of gravity of the shape and the maximum material thickness are in the wide central area. This makes the contact point very stable in the event of impact. The low centre of gravity also makes our bowls particularly resistant to tipping.

Ears do not hang into the food
The shape becomes narrower towards the upper edge. This means that the ears are guided over the rim when eating and do not fall into the food.

Adapted to the shape of the head
The bowls are adapted to the anatomical shape of the dog's head. Dogs with short muzzles (e.g. bulldogs) use the shallower version, dogs with long muzzles (e.g. Labradors) the deeper version. A smaller bowl is available for small dogs (e.g. Yorkshire Terrier).

Food-Stop - food stays in the bowl
The inner wall of the bowls rises continuously and does not form an edge. This allows the dog to push the food upwards with its tongue without it getting stuck in a corner. Food can hardly fall outside. The roughness of the ceramic prevents food from slipping out of the bowl. The dog can also clean its tongue.

Stackable
The bowls can be stacked. This means that leftover food can be covered with a water bowl, for example, or the food height can be adjusted for large dogs.

Ovenproof / Microwave-safe
For warm food, the bowls can be heated in a convection oven or microwave. Granicium has a very high heat storage capacity, approx. 20 times longer than steel.

Easy to clean and guaranteed for 15 years
It can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand with washing-up liquid. We give a 15-year material guarantee on the durability of the ceramic. Quality - Handmade in Germany.

Additional parts

Anti-snare insert
We offer a matching anti-snag insert for the M & L bowl sizes as well as for the S bowl. The insert consists of a plate with deep knobs and is placed loosely in the bowl. This slows down the dog's food intake and reduces snares.

Lid
Every bowl can be closed with the matching lid. This is useful for odourless storage of leftover food or for heating in the microwave or oven.

Stand
For larger dogs, there is a plug-in stand made of waterproof birch plywood, suitable for bowl sizes L & M. This allows the feeding height to be adjusted. The size L bowl is raised by 10 cm, the size M bowl by 12.5 cm. The stand is robust and cannot tip over. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The wood can be treated with cooking oil as additional protection against moisture and dirt.
